I can't believe how fast this year has gone by.

This year, I tried to ...
Stop more
Ponder often
Do or chase the things that matter.

One wise person once said:
"The greatest gift you can give someone is your time. Because when you give your time, you are giving
a portion of your life that you will never get back."

How true that is!

So during this busy and hectic season, I thought I'll share with you some gift ideas that can help you to slow down, remember what's important and enjoy each day moments.

1. Q&A a day Journal - Anthropologie
2. Enough print - MossyJojo
3. Gold monogram mug - Anthropologie
4. Vintage 2015 with Elderflower Shower Gel & Lotion Gift Set - Molton Brown
5. Past, Present and Future watch - AHA
6. Leopard penny eye mask - Peter Alexander

Have you had a busy, fast paced life this year? What has helped you to prioritize?
Take care lovelies!

I have to be honest with you. I cannot sew!

I do have a sewing machine and it’s been sitting in my room for umm … eight years. I must have had persuaded myself that owning a machine was a step towards learning how to sew.

I promise that one day I would learn how to sew. For now, I’m happy enough to find projects that require no or very little sewing. You’d be surprised that there are actually quite a lot of things you can make without a sewing machine.

These are some of my favorites.

1. Fabric Covered Planters from Hello Natural
Transform any boring planters into beautiful, colorful displays with fabric and mod podge. What’s more, you can also check out some ideas for a beauty herb garden. And there you have it: a beautiful planter with a herb garden that will make you look beautiful too.

2. Bow-back Tank Top from Creating Laura
I'm sure many of us have a lot of old t-shirts in the closet which we can repurpose. This diy only requires 3 materials - old t-shirt, scissors and glue.

3. No sew Temp Sofa Cover from MossyJojo
I did this as a temporary solution when my kids deliberately doodled on my microfiber sofa using Sharpie. If you ever had a Sharpie accident, this may be for you.

4. Pineapple Baby Costume from Lines Across
A pineapple onesie, complete with its headband cannot get any cuter than this. I wish I had seen this tutorial, when my kids were still babies. It would be a perfect kids costume for a summer party too.

5. Fabric Gift Bags from We Are Scout
These gorgeous gift bags are super easy to make. Using only four materials but the design options are endless.

6. No Sew Pieces Doll from Babble Dabble Do
How beautiful are these dolls! Best of all, it only takes less than 5 minutes to make each one.

Which one is your favourite?
Enjoy and happy crafting!

Hello lovelies,

I'm super excited to show you these handmade products from around the world. They were featured in the latest issue of Kids Nation mag.

I think one of the things I love the most about my job is curating these gift ideas. It's like collecting my favourite things, so maybe someone like my husband would get a hint (ehm ...) of what to get me.

Oh ... and if you're looking for a great deal, these featured shops also offer great discounts, which you can view on this page here.
I personally have been eyeing that Flamingo ring! :)

Which one is your fave? What would you like to receive on Mother's Day?

I remember when I became a first-time mum six years ago.

I came back from the hospital with my husband and our baby boy. I was happy, excited, yet very tired from not having enough sleep. The moment I got home, I saw a large box at my front door, tied with a green olive satin ribbon. It was a bouquet of long-stemmed pink roses, sent by my ex colleague. I think all my tiredness gone and my face lit up at that very second :)

As Mother’s Day coming up, is kind enough to offer you my lovely readers, the opportunity to win a bouquet of flowers (worth AUD70). Not only that, it will also be delivered to you for free. Yay!! I hope it would make someone smile on this Mother’s Day.
