I'M DREAMING OF A WHITE CHRISTMAS ...

Christmas is almost here.
We always have a hot summer Christmas here in Australia. Days filled with eating yummy barbecues, going to the beach and swatting flies.

Today I am dreaming of a white Christmas ...

Will you be having a white snowy Christmas or a hot summer one like me? What's your most favorite thing about Christmas? Have you done any preparation yet?

  2. I love everything about Christmas and all I have done is make Christmas cards for my shop! I hope we do have a white Christmas but being in Seattle it doesn't happen very often! (Although I would totally swap for a year or two .. BBQ for Christmas!)

    1. Thanks marta. I always love your mood board too. Wow -10! Are you using celcius or fahrenheit?

  4. Oh you found some beauties! Love those angel wings! No snow for us in TX -- for sure nothing more than a sprinkling for maybe one or two days of winter.... but it is going to be a little chilly for the trick or treaters!

  5. Great collection here!

I live near Vancouver, Canada so we usually have a very rainy Christmas! But still...northern hemisphere. I remember a classmate of mine went to New Zealand for Christmas (his parents were from there) when we were about nine. He came back in the new year and reported that Santa had come on a skateboard! Since then, I know everyone in the southern hemisphere is doing it better :)

    1. Haha that's too funny! Where I live all the Santas wear Santa's outfit. I feel really sorry for those guys especially when it's 40 °C (104 °F).

  6. I'm not even ready for Halloween and it will be here in just a couple of days. I can't begin to think about Christmas yet!
I love that first photo. It never snows where I live, so I know it won't be a white Christmas for me.

  7. Christmas is the only time of year where I like the weather to be cold and snowy. And it usually is here in Chicago. Australia is my favorite place I've ever been though, and a warm Christmas with BBQ sounds pretty amazing to me!

  8. BBQ at Christmas! Sounds fun! I'm hoping for a White Christmas in good ol' Missouri! We'll travel there for Christmas with our families!

  9. I like having cold weather and snow for Christmas, but going to the beach doesn't sound too bad, either! :-) We usually have snow here in Chicago, but our last two winters have been really mild. I wouldn't mind some real snow again!
